You need software built. The problem is finding engineers you can actually trust to build it.
Hiring takes too long. Agencies overpromise and underdeliver. Freelancers disappear. And the backlog keeps growing while you wait for someone capable enough to own it.
We’ve been building software for over a decade — platforms used by organisations across the UK, the Middle East, and beyond. We know what good delivery looks like, and we build teams around it.
Where development engagements go wrong
You can’t hire fast enough The market for senior engineers is tight. Recruitment takes months, onboarding takes longer, and by the time someone’s productive your requirements have shifted.
You get juniors billed at senior rates Most outsourcing arrangements front the pitch with seniors and deliver with juniors. You end up managing the work yourself — which defeats the point.
Architecture decisions get made by the wrong people Bad early decisions are expensive to unwind. Without senior technical ownership from day one, you accumulate debt that slows every future sprint.
Delivery stalls when requirements are unclear Teams that just execute tickets don’t push back when something doesn’t make sense. Good engineers shape the brief, not just fulfil it.
You’re left holding the operational risk A vendor that builds and disappears leaves you with software nobody understands. We stay involved — supporting, improving, and evolving what we build.
What we bring
We’re a senior-led team of engineers, architects, and delivery leads. We build full products and supplement existing teams — depending on what you need.
Engineering
- Full-stack web development across modern frameworks
- Mobile apps (iOS and Android)
- Cloud infrastructure and DevOps (AWS and Azure)
- API design and system integration
- Data architecture and reporting
Delivery
- Technical discovery: turning vague requirements into a buildable spec
- Sprint planning, estimation, and stakeholder communication
- CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management
- Ongoing monitoring, support, and iterative improvement
Architecture
- Pragmatic design that scales without over-engineering
- Security-by-default across every layer
- Cloud-native patterns that keep hosting costs under control
- Integration-ready systems that connect to the tools you already use
How we engage
Team augmentation — a senior engineer or architect embedded in your existing team, filling a specific capability gap and raising the overall standard of delivery.
Squad delivery — a small, self-sufficient cross-functional team taking full ownership of a product, feature set, or platform from brief to production.
Build and run — we design, build, launch, and continue to operate and evolve what we’ve built. One relationship, end to end.
Who we’ve worked with
We’ve built platforms for Propertymark — the UK’s leading professional body for estate agents — delivered a mobile app for the Emirates Racing Authority, and built and operate several of our own platforms serving businesses across multiple industries. We don’t just work on greenfield builds; we take on complex legacy systems and modernise them too.

From the blog

Taking Care has supported over 250,000 people and their families across the UK, handling 1.78 million alarm calls and resolving 65,700 emergencies in the past year alone. They are the UK’s leading personal alarm provider — but the challenge they brought to QuidVista wasn’t about responding to emergencies faster. It was about preventing them from happening in the first place.

Droplet came to QuidVista with a product that had already gone through five years of research and development, involved over 100 healthcare professionals, and addressed a genuinely serious health problem. The challenge wasn’t the hardware — it was making the experience of using it simple enough for the people who needed it most.

In the fast-paced world of software development, “vibe coding” has become a popular approach, especially among small businesses and startups looking to move quickly. But what exactly is vibe coding, and why can it be dangerous for your business? More importantly, how can you harness its speed while avoiding its pitfalls?

Trade shows are expensive, infrequent, and geographically fixed. For brands trying to get their products in front of retail buyers, the traditional model creates a bottleneck: you wait for the right event, spend heavily to attend, and hope the right people show up. Product Guru had a different idea — and they asked QuidVista to build the app that would make it work.

Following the successful delivery of the Propertymark Learner Portal, Propertymark approached QuidVista with an ambitious new project: Connect, an innovative referral platform that would transform how estate agents across the UK share leads and generate revenue from out-of-area referrals. The challenge? Deliver a production-ready platform in a tight timeline that could scale to serve thousands of agents nationwide.

Propertymark approached the Quidvista team in November 2022 with a requirement for a “Learner Portal’ product for their Qualifications team.
In its role as the national association for estate agents, valuers and other property professionals, Propertymark offers a number of continued professional development qualifications for its members.

When the Emirates Racing Authoroty (ERA) revamped their website they decided they also wanted a better solution for their users on mobile devices. Find out about more about our mobile offline first app below.
